Steht euch das Wasser bis zum Hals oder seid ihr schon abgetaucht?
In dieser ersten Podcastfolge heuern 4 Schüler*innen der 10. Klasse an unserer Bordfunke an um Fragen zu stellen: Wie stehst du zum Klimaschutz? Sind wir gemeinsam stärker und wie lassen sich Unterschiede feiern? Wie ist die Meerjungfrau Melusine aus den Tiefen des Meeres in Altenburg gestrandet?
Es gibt hier viel zu entdecken: ein buntes Klangorchester, eine Werft und ein altes Schiff, das frisch poliert auf Reisen gehen soll …
Im Gespräch mit Gästen aus Soziokultur, Therapie und Schule sprechen wir über das Thema „Gemeinsam & Anders“ und fragen uns, ob das „und“ ein „Istgleich“ werden kann.

Episode 1: Together & Different
Are you up to your neck in water or are you already submerged?
In this first podcast episode, 4 10th grade students hire on our on-board radio to ask questions: Where do you stand on climate action? Are we stronger together and how can we celebrate differences? How did the mermaid Melusine get stranded in Altenburg from the depths of the sea?
There is a lot to discover here: a colorful sound orchestra, a shipyard and an old ship that is about to set sail freshly polished ...
In conversation with guests from socio-culture, therapy and school, we talk about the theme "Together & Different" and ask ourselves whether the "and" can become an "isame".

Woche 1: Altenburg liegt (wieder) am Meer!
Alle Mann an Bord, wir legen los! Altenburg am Meer lebt - dank eines großen, internationalen Teams, das seine Arbeit in den verschiedenen Werkstätten aufgenommen hat. Ob an der Werft, in der Puppen- oder Paradenwerkstatt, überall wird fleissig gewerkelt, werden Leerstände zu kreativen Inseln. Besonders bereichernd: Die Zusammenarbeit mit den Schüler*innen des Förderzentrums Erich Kästner sowie zahlreichen Klienten von Horizonte - dem Psychosozialen Diakoniezentrums Altenburger Land. Genau wie Melusine, der Meerjunfrau, tauchten im Laufe der Woche immer mehr „fremde Freunde" auf, um Teil des Teams zu werden, sich auf vielfältige Weise einzubringen oder ihrer Unterstützung anzubieten. Dieses Gemeinschaftsgefühl… sinnstiftend und einfach menschlich!
Week 1: Altenburg is by the sea (again)!
All aboard, let's get going! Altenburg am Meer vibrates with life - thanks to a large, international team that has started its work in the various workshops. Whether at the shipyard, in the puppet workshop or in the parade workshop, everywhere people are busy creating social bonds and thing - turning empty spaces into creative islands. Particularly enriching: the cooperation with the students of the Erich Kästner school as well as participants through Horizonte - the psychosocial center in Altenburger Land. Just like Melusine, the mermaid, more and more "stranger friends" showed up in the course of the week to become part of the team, contributing in various ways and offering their support. That sense of community... is meaningful and simply human!
